WHO I AM
CHRISTIAN SINGER / SONGWRITER
Worship through song is my passion,
being both transparent and real while leading worship is my desire.
I have been a born again believer since 1995. God delivered me from a lifestyle far from His desire for my life. A lifestyle full of alcohol, drugs, two failed marriages, etc. After giving my life to the Lord, I began believing many lies about my past. These lies carried with them shame, disgust, and a feeling of unworthiness. It wasn’t until I was serving in prison ministry that I finally surrendered to what God had planned for my life all along, writing songs praising Him and honoring the work He has done and is still doing in my life. He has written over 100 songs through me, giving me many avenues to share both my songs and my testimony. The songs that I write make me very vulnerable, as they are a snapshot of my walk with Christ. They speak to both the highs and lows of my spiritual journey, always pointing back to Him.
I married a godly man shortly after I gave my life to God in 1995. We have four children, two are adults and two are about to be adults. We are also blessed to be grandparents to one amazing grandson (so far :)). My husband is an ordained pastor and I am blessed to have our two youngest children join me leading worship on occasion. It is my desire to be transparent to this fallen world. Not standing on a soapbox proclaiming damnation, but standing beside someone sharing how a relationship with God can change their lives.
